This is a personal website. I use ordinary hosting and analytics tools to understand whether it works, and I receive only the information you choose to send or submit. I do not sell your personal information.

Information this site may receive
The hosting and analytics services configured for this site may receive ordinary technical and usage information, such as your browser and device type, referring page, approximate location, pages viewed, and timestamps. The site currently uses Vercel and Google Analytics for hosting, performance monitoring, and aggregate usage measurement. Your browser may also store preferences such as the light or dark theme you select.
If you subscribe to a newsletter, the subscription provider receives the email address and related information needed to manage that request. If you send an email or otherwise contact me, I receive the contact details and content you choose to provide. Please do not send passwords, private keys, health information, or other sensitive material through general contact channels.
How information is used and shared
I use information to operate and secure the site, understand aggregate usage, improve its content and performance, manage requested subscriptions, and respond to messages. Service providers may process information when needed to provide hosting, analytics, email, or site functionality. Information may also be disclosed when required by law or when reasonably necessary to protect rights, safety, or the integrity of the site.
External links and embedded content
Posts and pages may link to or embed content from other services, including GitHub, LinkedIn, X, YouTube, and Google. Those services have their own privacy practices and may receive information when you visit them or load their embedded content. This notice does not control how third-party sites handle information.
Your choices
You can limit cookies and similar storage through your browser, use privacy-protective browser settings, and unsubscribe from email using the link in any newsletter message. Blocking some technologies may affect embedded media or other site features. You may ask about information associated with a message you sent, request a correction or deletion where applicable, or raise a privacy concern by emailing paulmest+www@gmail.com. Some records may need to be retained for security, operational, or legal reasons.
